LANSING, Mich., Feb. 6, 2024 ~ AF Group, a leading insurance company, has once again demonstrated its commitment to giving back to local communities and supporting charitable organizations. In the past year alone, the company has donated over $1.4 million to various regional and national organizations.
This generous contribution was made possible through AF Group's annual Caring & Sharing employee giving program. The program encourages teammates to donate to causes they are passionate about, and last year they raised an impressive $338,000.
But that's not all – AF Group and its parent company Emergent Holdings also matched these donations dollar-for-dollar, bringing the total amount raised to nearly $700,000. This money was then distributed among 50 different charitable organizations across the country.

"Community engagement is deeply ingrained in our culture at AF Group and Emergent Holdings," said Sarah Garcia, director of Community Relations. "Our teammates are passionate about making a difference in their local communities as well as nationwide."
In addition to monetary donations, AF Group employees also dedicated their time by volunteering for various causes. In 2023 alone, they logged nearly 1,300 volunteer hours through company-sponsored events. One such event was with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a national nonprofit organization that provides beds for children and families in need.
In December of 2023, nearly 80 AF Group employees spent an afternoon building 40 twin beds for children in need in the Lansing, Michigan area. This event not only provided much-needed beds for children but also allowed employees to come together and make a positive impact in their community.
Through their continued support for local communities and charities, AF Group has proven that they are more than just an insurance company – they are a company with a heart.
