DETROIT, Sept. 5, 2024 ~ The American Cancer Society has announced a new event that aims to bring together award-winning chefs and food enthusiasts in Detroit for a shared cause. "Taste of Hope Detroit" is set to take place on Monday, September 22, 2025 at the Icon Building in Detroit.
This extraordinary culinary event will feature top chefs from the Detroit area showcasing their finest dishes, along with creative drinks from renowned mixologists and lively entertainment. The strolling supper-style event will provide guests with ample opportunities to network, dance, and enjoy the best of Detroit's culinary scene while making a difference in the fight against cancer.
Under the leadership of executive chair Cindy Warner, CEO of 360ofme, Taste of Hope Detroit promises to be a fresh and dynamic addition to the city's events calendar. This event will replace the annual Detroit Discovery Ball.
Warner expressed her excitement about being a part of this meaningful event and making a tangible impact in the fight against cancer. Having lost her mother and grandmother to cancer at a young age, she felt a deep calling to get involved and contribute to this cause.
