FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Michimich -- Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Lodge is excited to announce the installation of a striking new dome atop the waterpark structure on Dec. 11th. Known for their expertise in architecture and more specifically dome fabrication, Campbellsville Industries, Inc. from Campbellsville, Kentucky, crafted the dome and is also the company behind the impressive dome at the Frankenmuth Cheese Haus.
This new addition is a unique 16-sided dome with a square base. The dome has a vertical height of 13 feet 8 inches, and a 10-inch high UL-approved copper air terminal. The widest part of the base measures 7 feet 10 inches, while the dome itself reaches a width of 6 feet 3 inches.
Developed with a structural aluminum angle framework and clad in 20 oz. of mill finish copper, this dome combines durability and aesthetic appeal. Its sophisticated design is sure to draw attention and admiration from locals and visitors alike.

This comes after the announcement of postponing the opening of the waterpark due to significant delays in the final stage of the construction process. Bavarian Inn Lodge will continue to work on the completion of the 170,000 sq. ft. expansion as quickly and safely as possible with the commitment to creating an unforgettable experience and lasting memories for their guests. A new planned opening date has not been released at this time.
