DETROIT, Feb. 14, 2024 ~ Bollinger Motors, Inc., a leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has announced their partnership with LaFontaine Automotive Group as their first authorized dealer in Michigan. The collaboration between the two companies was officially kicked off by Jim Connelly, chief revenue officer at Bollinger Motors, and Brian Frania, commercial and fleet director at LaFontaine Automotive Group.
The partnership will see LaFontaine Automotive Group become the first sales and service dealership for Bollinger Motors in Michigan. The company will offer the Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab, an all-new, all-electric class 4 commercial truck designed with extensive input from fleet and upfitter experts. The unique chassis design of the B4 offers unparalleled safety in the commercial market by protecting the 800V battery and components.
"We are excited to work with LaFontaine right here in Michigan where we designed and will build the B4," said Robert Bollinger, founder and CEO of Bollinger Motors. "LaFontaine shares our commitment to quality and customer service."
According to LaFontaine Automotive Group, this acquisition brings their portfolio to 54 retail franchises and 39 retail locations. They also have plans for further expansion in 2024. The Bollinger commercial vehicles will be available at two locations - LaFontaine Bollinger Farmington Hills and LaFontaine Bollinger Lansing.
