Calvary Presbyterian Church of Detroit is celebrating its 2nd annual Juneteenth Community Celebration Saturday, June 18th from 11 am – 5 pm. This event celebrates liberation from human enslavement through worship with guest speaker Rev. Dr. James Terrell Thomas.
We will have activities for children and youth, music, a DJ, food, brief lectures, community leaders, guest choirs, our PATH drummers and other musicians, our choir, small business and entrepreneurial vendors, and powerful reaching, as we invite our neighborhood to our campus, but most importantly to Christ our Liberator.

Vendors will be hosted under a tent on church grounds at the intersection of West Seven Mile and Greenview and are welcome to register by June 10th. Vendor registration is $25 which includes a table and two chairs.
All are invited to come celebrate as we remember our history and revel in our unique African and African American culture.
