Filmmakers, ages 13-25, Are Invited to Submit Their Films to Michigan's Premier Film Festival
FLINT, Mich. - Michimich -- iMichigan Productions is thrilled to announce the Call for Entries is now officially open for the 10th Annual Flint Youth Film Festival (FYFF). This landmark event will celebrate a decade of inspiring young filmmakers and fostering creativity, innovation, and storytelling in the world of film.
Presented by iMichigan Productions, the FYFF, the premier and eagerly anticipated annual fundraising event showcases the talents of young filmmakers between the ages of 13 and 25. This year's festival promises to be an even more engaging and diverse celebration of filmmaking, offering both digital and in-person screenings, workshops, and a red-carpet award ceremony.
Since its inception, the FYFF has provided a unique platform for aspiring filmmakers to showcase their talent and share their narratives. 2025 marks a significant milestone for the festival, reflecting 10 years of empowering youth through storytelling and the art of filmmaking.

"We are proud to celebrate a decade of elevating young voices in the film industry," said Rodney W. Brown, Founder, iMichigan Productions. "The Flint Youth Film Festival has grown into a beacon for emerging talent, and this 10th anniversary is a testament to the passion and creativity of all the filmmakers who have shared their stories over the years."
Filmmakers can submit short films in various categories. Festival entrants are divided into four age groups, 13-15, 16-18, 19-21 and 22-25 years of age. The three older groups' films are divided into fiction, nonfiction, experimental and animation is open to all ages.
Entries will be judged by an esteemed panel of industry professionals, with finalists being showcased during the festival. The FYFF offers young filmmakers the chance to gain recognition, connect with industry leaders, and engage with audiences who value authentic and fresh perspectives.

iMichigan Productions is a youth-based organization that provides reading and writing skill-basedlearning through the arts. Our programs serve to support the youth in developing the necessaryskills to pursue a career in the film and television industry. We serve an average of 300 youth ages13 – 25 annually.
