Business leader and operations strategist Chadwick Twillman enters the race to represent Bay City, Midland, and Saginaw with a plan to restore infrastructure, reform courts, and fight for working families.

Business Leader Launches Campaign Focused on Infrastructure Reform, Family Court Accountability, and Small Business Revival
Bay City, MI — Chadwick Twillman, operations strategist and Vice President of The Mountain Movers Firm, has officially announced his candidacy for Michigan's 35th Senate District, representing Bay City, Midland, and Saginaw.
With a background in business, logistics, and community development, Twillman enters the race to restore accountability in Lansing, fix failing infrastructure, and stand up for working families across Mid-Michigan.
"Our district has been ignored long enough," said Twillman. "Our bridges have been sold off, our court system is broken, and our small businesses are barely staying afloat. I'm stepping forward to fight for the people who've been forgotten."

A father of five, Twillman's campaign centers on three core pillars:
Infrastructure Reform
Twillman is demanding a full investigation into the 75-year lease signed with United Bridge Partners, a Colorado firm granted control of Bay City's key bridges. Promised rebuilds were never completed, and tolls have burdened working families.
"This wasn't a partnership—it was a sell-off," Twillman said. "We'll establish a task force to review the contract and pursue early release if needed."
Judicial & Family Court Reform
He will push for an audit of Mid-Michigan's family courts, especially the Friend of the Court system, to improve transparency, reduce delays, and protect parental rights.
"Too many parents feel railroaded by a system that lacks accountability. We must restore trust in the legal process."
Economic Development
Twillman supports targeted investments in small businesses, trade education, and financial literacy to rebuild the local economy and equip the next generation.
"We don't need more bureaucracy—we need practical investment in people and skills that lift communities."

Twillman brings executive experience to the campaign. As Vice President of The Mountain Movers Firm, a Michigan-based search fund, he has helped acquire and grow several businesses, including Clover Enterprises, an eCommerce lending company, and Brexy Management Inc., an AI consulting firm.
In 2025, Twillman stepped back from daily operations to fully dedicate himself to public service.
"I've helped businesses build systems, fix what's broken, and grow under pressure. Lansing needs that mindset now more than ever."
