"Experience the Art of Music" October fundraiser features music, art, food & wine
PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Michimich -- Ever wondered what it's like to peer inside one of the most unique homes in downtown Plymouth? Well now you can when Walt Menard, a local philanthropist, art collector and music lover, hosts a special fundraiser to support the Michigan Philharmonic's 77th season.
Planned for Saturday, Oct. 15 from 6-9 p.m., this strolling experience will take place inside Menard's custom-built home on Deer Steet with live music by the Philharmonic, wine, drinks (including a "signature" Tito's cocktail) and a selection of light food.
This is a wonderful way to celebrate art and music while exploring the exceptional home of Plymouth's "most eligible bachelor." Menard's home is a Plymouth original that includes a theater, wine cellar, lounge deck, a raised "bridge" connecting the front and back of the home as well as his personal art collection.
Part of Menard's impressive art collection will be for sale that evening with 10% of the proceeds going to support the Philharmonic.
