Today, at 8 a.m., Detroit City Distillery (DCD) announced the online launch of their highly sought-after Pączki Day Vodka (PDV) and its variant, Orange Cream Pączki Day Vodka. These spirits, along with Hometown Horseradish and two new bottled cocktails, Espresso Martini and Polish Bloody Mary, are now available for purchase on DCD's website.

The PDV lineup has been months in the making, with DCD's team putting in meticulous efforts to create these unique and flavorful spirits. The Pączki Day Vodka 2024 is set to be released on January 26th, 2024.

Pączki Day Vodka ($35 per bottle) is an 80-proof Polish vodka that has been distilled with fresh raspberry pączki from the renowned New Palace Bakery in Hamtramck. This crystal-clear spirit boasts a smooth, buttery texture with a distinctive raspberry finish. It can be enjoyed chilled over ice, mixed into cocktails, or used as a unique pączki chaser.

The Orange Cream Pączki Day Vodka ($35 per bottle) is a variant of the original PDV. It shares the same smooth and buttery qualities but has a unique orange cream finish. This 80-proof Polish vodka is also distilled with fresh pączki from Hamtramck's New Palace Bakery.

For those who prefer a savory option, DCD offers Hometown Horseradish Vodka ($30 per bottle). This clear and 80-proof Michigan vodka is infused with freshly-ground horseradish, providing a bright and crisp taste that is perfect for making the ultimate Bloody Mary.

In addition to these new vodkas, DCD has also introduced two bottled cocktails: Espresso Martini ($10 per bottle) and Polish Bloody Mary ($14 per bottle). The Espresso Martini is made with PDV, DCD's proprietary coffee liqueur, coffee, and Demerara sugar, while the Polish Bloody Mary features DCD's Hometown Horseradish Vodka and a specially crafted Bloody Mary mix.
