AUBURN HILLS, Mich. , Aug. 15, 2024 ~ The annual Woodward Cruise event in metro Detroit is set to be a thrilling display of Dodge's Brotherhood of Muscle, with a full Dodge Direct Connection fan display on Saturday, August 17. This event follows the successful Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge horsepower festival and will feature the all-new 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona.
Partnering with the Modern Street HEMI® Shootout car club for the fourth consecutive year, Dodge will showcase its latest vehicles on famed Woodward Avenue. The highlight of the display will be the all-new 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona, which recently made its worldwide public debut at the Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge event. With a powerful 670-horsepower engine, this muscle car is the world's quickest and most powerful.
In addition to the Charger Daytona, visitors can also expect to see the Dodge Hornet R/T on display. This utility vehicle boasts an impressive 288 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque, with a PowerShot performance feature that provides an extra boost of 30 horsepower and shaves off 1.5 seconds from its normal acceleration time.
Fans can also check out Direct Connection performance parts at the display, including the new HurriCrate engine that was revealed during Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge. The display will be located at St. George Greek Orthodox Church and will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
