Guilford Technical Community College Student Awarded $1000 National Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Michimich -- GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. – The team at Platinum Educational Group understands the struggles and obstacles that are presented to students obtaining higher education in the healthcare industries. In 2015, Platinum Educational Group launched its inaugural scholarships program geared at Emergency Medical Services (EMS) students. The 2022 EMS scholarship was awarded to Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) student Jennifer Montalvo from Greensboro, North Carolina. Ms. Montalvo is studying to become a paramedic in the college's paramedic program. GTCC's Emergency Medical Science curriculum provides you with the knowledge, skills, and attributes to provide advanced emergency medical care as a paramedic for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. It prepares graduates to enter the workforce. Jennifer was a randomly drawn winner of Platinum's 2022 "Scholarships for Selfies" awards. One of Platinum Educational Group's goals is to aid students entering healthcare industries via their annual scholarship program.
