Holiday Open House returns to Bavarian Inn

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Michimich -- Assisting the Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan is the focus this year as the annual Bavarian Inn (http://www.bavarianinn.com/) Holiday Open House returns all day long on Friday, Nov. 3 in Frankenmuth.

The Bavarian Inn Restaurant's Castle Shops, Frankenmuth Cheese Haus, Covered Bridge Shop, Frank's Muth and select stores at Frankenmuth River Place Shops will all be participating.

Shoppers can help by giving a cash donation to the Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan and in return will receive a 20 percent discount card to be used at participating locations. Also, shoppers can earn the discount card by bringing canned and non-perishable food items, which will be donated to a local food pantry.

Shoppers should arrive early on Nov. 3 and begin their day by making the cash or non-perishable food donation at any of the locations listed below. Shoppers can then use their 20 percent discount card while shopping at the following locations during store hours that day:

• Bavarian Inn Restaurant Castle Shops: Royal Gift Shop, Souvenirs & Cheers, Chocolate Shop, Candy Corner, Castle Shop Bakery, Doll & Toy Shop, Wine & Beer Shop
• Covered Bridge Shop
• Frankenmuth Cheese Haus
• Frank's Muth
• Frankenmuth River Place Shops: Calla Emilie B's, Hello Cats and Dogs, Funky Skunk, Jerky Joint, Enchanted Forest and Woody's

Discounts are only valid the day of the Open House. Shoppers will receive a gift after accumulating $25 in purchases at participating locations.

Many other activities, including holiday music, unique gifts and food samples, will help get visitors in the Christmas spirit during the Open House. There will also be hourly prize drawings at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant Castle Shops.
