SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Michimich -- Irene's Myomassology Institute is excited to work with FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation this November 10th for Shake Your Soul! Shake Your Soul is a unique and invigorating approach to body-spirit fitness, incorporating elements of movement therapy, qigong, yoga, and dance. "It's a great way to spend your Friday evening, and it's for an amazing cause," says Kathy Skubik, Irene's Executive Director.
FAR is a nonprofit organization that helps people with special needs connect and flourish through the use of creative and recreational therapies. "It's $20 to get in the door, but that money goes directly to the charity," Skubik states. "We want you to come prepared to have fun, move your body, and Shake Your Soul!"
Participants of all levels of movement and fitness level can participate. Please dress comfortably, bring a bottle of water, and a yoga mat to class. Registration starts at 6:30pm with the main event starting at 7pm. To sign up, go to far-therapy.org or call 248-646-3347.
