FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Michimich -- The Frankenmuth Funtown Chowdown Food Truck Festival is back in action on May 8 with a delicious combination of family-friendly entertainment and a diverse lineup of food trucks across Michigan.
The food truck festival is from 2 to 9 PM on Thursday, May 8, at Frankenmuth River Place Shops, 925 S. Main St. in Michigan's Little Bavaria. Festival admission and parking are free. The remaining 2025 dates are June 12, July 10, August 14, and September 11.
Each food truck festival will showcase special activities and entertainment. This month, Frankenmuth River Place Shops will be kicking off with a Renaissance theme. Each date will also feature a variety of food and beverages, including 17-20 food trucks from across Michigan and a beer tent with a handcrafted cocktail special. There will be plenty of shaded seating and activities for families, such as face painting and inflatables. The event is pet-friendly; animals must be on a 6-foot leash at all times.
