Inspired by the 100th anniversary of Tucci family hospitality, this collection represents a defining moment in Max Tucci's creative journey—but it is not his first foray into chocolate. For nearly two decades, Tucci has collaborated with master chocolatier Fritz Knipschildt, the internationally celebrated craftsman renowned for his uncompromising standards and widely recognized for his work admired by tastemakers such as Martha Stewart and Oprah

Their partnership dates back to 2008, when Tucci launched Oscar's Delmonico Vodka in honor of his grandfather famed restaurateur, Oscar Tucci. To mark that debut, Knipschildt and Tucci created Oscar's Delmonico Vodka–infused truffle—a decadent confection that married fine spirits, fine chocolate, and legacy storytelling. Now, that long-standing collaboration arrives on a grander stage: a full luxury chocolate collection designed not as a finale, but as the launch of a sublime future in Max Tucci Luxury Chocolates.

A CHOCOLATE WORTHY OF THE TUCCI NAME

"This collection is about honoring my ancestors, and their friendships with some extraordinary women who dined at the restaurant. It honors where we come from and shares it in a modern way," says Tucci. "A century of hospitality inspired this moment, and it's only the beginning."

The 16-piece, two-bite bonbon collection is both a visual jewel box and a culinary experience—each piece meticulously hand crafted and inspired by iconic women whose stories live at the legendary establishment. Oscar Tucci "Welcomed all to the table!" He was a magnet for glamour, performance, and cultural electricity.

Max's bespoke limited-edition assortment features four signature bonbons:

Max Tucci's Signature Bonbon
— A bold, classic, refined creation that captures Tucci's unmistakable style: classic, confident, and irresistibly indulgent. Lush burnt caramel kissed with Hawaiian salt, wrapped in 71% Ecuadorian dark chocolate

Marlene's Cherries Jubilee — A decadent cherry liqueur ganache bursting with ripe Bing cherry, wrapped in silky chocolate decadence
*Inspired by Marlene Dietrich, whose favored indulgence before filming Rancho Notorious was the legendary Cherries Jubilee—served tableside with theatrical flair at Delmonico's. The Cherries Jubilee recipe is available in Max' cookbook, The Delmonico Way; Sublime Entertaining & Legendary Recipes From The Restaurant That Made New York! (Rizzoli New York 2022)

Marilyn's Grapefruit Whisper — A bright, unexpected fusion of grapefruit and mint ganache, elegantly enrobed in white chocolate
*A nod to Marilyn Monroe, who would famously ask Oscar Tucci for "broiled grapefruit", a dish of understated glamour that became part of Delmonico's lore, with the recipe published in Max's cookbook The Delmonico Way!

Gypsy's Raspberry Rose — A romantic blend of raspberry and rose with a velvety ganache, and a lingering finish
*Inspired by Gypsy Rose Lee, whom Oscar Tucci invited to dine and perform—stirring up evenings that blurred the line between supper and spectacle. Her Delmonico's appearances were chronicled by famed columnist Cindy Adams, beginning in 1959, capturing the electricity of a room where society and showmanship met.

Holiday Gourmet - Valentine's Edition with Alberti Popaj and Sandra Bennett

"QVC came to me in a flash of fate. Years ago, I'd watch QVC with my Aunt Mary—caught between Turner Classic Movies and QVC, completely captivated. Then, more than 30 years later, it all came full circle at a dinner hosted by QVC veteran and queen of makeup, Laura Geller. She invited QVC host Sandra Bennett, fellow QVC all-stars, and dear friends of ours—Chef Carla Hall, Stacy London, and Lawrence Zarian. I shared my bonbons around the table, and Laura immediately declared, 'We've got to get you on QVC!'—(Laura Geller and I were introduced through QVC icon and our mutual friend, Harry Slatkin.) The reaction was unanimous: everyone agreed my luxury chocolate collection and charisma were made for QVC."- Tucci shared.

Moving Forward While Looking Back

Like his grandfather Oscar Tucci, Max welcomes all to his table, with bonbons, his cookbook, and a new podcast "Welcome To My Table with Max Tucci" which airs on LA Talk Radio and all podcasting platforms. The show—alongside the luxury chocolate collection—are part of a series of ventures commemorating the Tucci family's 100 years of hospitality.
