Bestselling Sugar-Free Cinnamon Rolls Launch in 227 Albertsons Companies Stores
Michimich -- No Sugar Baker Continues National Growth with Seattle Market Expansion Across Washington, Idaho, and Alaska
Bestselling Sugar-Free Cinnamon Rolls Launch in 227 Albertsons Companies Stores
MIAMI, Fla. – August 18, 2026 – What began as one woman's search for a dessert she could safely enjoy has become one of America's fastest-growing sugar-free bakery brands.
This fall, No Sugar Baker will expand into the Albertsons Companies Seattle Market, bringing its bestselling No Sugar Baker OMG Cinnamon Rolls with OMG Cream Cheese Icing to 227 stores operating under the Safeway, Albertsons, Haggen, and Carrs banners across Washington, Idaho, and Alaska.
The September 1 launch marks No Sugar Baker's first expansion into the Pacific Northwest and Alaska and continues the brand's rapid growth across Albertsons Companies.
For founder Jayne Jones, the milestone is almost impossible to believe.
Just a few years ago, Jones was fighting for her life after surviving severe Type 2 diabetes, septic shock, and two cardiac arrests that left doctors giving her just a 1% chance of survival. Long before there was a company, she started a simple blog because she couldn't find the answers she needed.
"I reached out everywhere looking for help," Jones said. "No one—including dietitians—was calling me back. So I walked into my own kitchen and started creating recipes I could actually enjoy. I never dreamed those recipes would one day end up in grocery stores across America."

Today, those recipes have evolved into more than 250 original sugar-free creations, bestselling cookbooks, national media appearances, and a growing retail brand helping people discover that sugar-free never has to mean sacrificing flavor.
"Every time we expand into another region, I think about the person standing in the bakery aisle who has been waiting for someone to remember them," Jones said. "Whether you're managing diabetes, cutting back on sugar, or simply looking for better choices, you deserve to enjoy a warm cinnamon roll with your morning coffee. That's what No Sugar Baker is all about."
Growing Wellness Through Great Bakery
Beth DaCosta, Bakery Sales Manager for the Seattle Market, believes customers are going to be pleasantly surprised.
"Our bakery teams are always looking for products that truly stand out, and No Sugar Baker does exactly that. These cinnamon rolls deliver the quality and flavor our customers expect while offering a sugar-free option that's unlike anything else in our bakeries. We're excited to introduce them throughout the Seattle Market."
A Journey No One Planned
Christopher Beehler, President and CEO of No Sugar Baker—and Jayne's husband—says the company's growth has been unlike anything they ever imagined "People sometimes assume we sat down with a business plan. We didn't—Jayne laughs we don't even know what Q4 means. Jayne started a blog because she was scared and searching for answers. She simply wanted to figure out how to live without sugar. Then people started making her recipes. They wanted the cookbooks. Then grocery buyers started calling. Somewhere along the way, No Sugar Baker became a company. None of this was planned—but every step has been driven by people asking for more. Watching that journey unfold has been one of the greatest privileges of my life."

With the Seattle Market expansion, No Sugar Baker products will now be available across New England, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska, with additional retail growth planned.
"We're just getting started," Jones said. "Every new store means another family has the opportunity to discover that life can still be sweet—without the sugar. That mission means everything to us."
