The initial real estate businesses were founded by his forebear, David Williams of England who migrated to the Natchez Mississippi region in the mid 1700s and acquired over 10,000 acres. His lineage also includes Archie P. Williams who was a mixed-race millionaire slave owner and one of the subsequent generational inheritors of the initial David Williams. A.P. Williams got the family involved in the oil and gas industry in the early 1900s while his grandson Archie J Williams expanded opportunities. Anton Williams is the great great great grandson of Archie P Williams and the great grandson of Archie J Williams.
