DETROIT - Michimich -- Right Path, a non-profit organization, is excited to announce the opening of their Volunteer Bank, an online portal that will serve as a gateway to prospective volunteers and sponsors interested in supporting Right Path's vision. The Volunteer Bank will collect both supporters interested in working solely with Right Path, as well as individuals seeking to volunteer with Right Path's community partners throughout Metropolitan Detroit.
On December 27, 2023, Right Path joined partner Capuchin Soup Kitchen in serving meals to the community following the Christmas holiday. The Capuchin Soup Kitchen – Conner site generally serves about 100+ breakfast meals a day, Monday through Saturday, and all meals are free of charge to guests. "The Capuchin Soup Kitchen is not government funded and is operated on 100% donations with the generosity of individuals, communities, and private & public organizations" said volunteer coordinator Juanita McGhee. "Giving back to the community we support is a critical component of Right Path's mission. We were glad to serve and look forward to a continued partnership," said Right Path's president, Jarvis Williams. "Right Path is pleased to partner with such a dynamic organization."

Spring 2024, Right Path is partnering with the Coalition On Temporary Shelter, notably referred to as 'COTS', to establish its first library dedicated to providing a space where children can come for literacy enhancement without the need to leave their community. Started in 1982, COTS was founded to address Detroit's growing homelessness crisis. COTS provides emergency shelter, transitional housing and comprehensive supportive services to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness. Right Path is also currently accepting donations and sponsorships to promote new literature and additional resources for Detroit's K-5 children. "Help us push the needle forward", said Right Path's President, Jarvis Williams. "Together we can end the ever-growing literacy crisis plaguing our children; the need is immediate and is therefore our mission."
