How can one pursue a path of self-discovery in a high-tech world where being oneself is illegal?
LIVONIA, Mich. - Michimich -- The chronicles of Mink continue in Machines, the next installment in Raymond Henri's Tear of God novels, where Mink finds himself in Freeland, a foreign high-tech nation with more opportunities for growth than anywhere else on planet Georra. The only problem is pursuing his natural-born elemental talent is illegal.
"I enjoy writing amalgams and this series allows me plenty of opportunities to place my characters in unique situations," says author Raymond Henri. "This book focuses on the status of events on planet Georra from another nation's perspective and also explores the effects of PTSD, a genderless society, and pushing past boundaries."
Three years after the Battle of Rift Ridge, Mink adjusts to his new life as a Machinist in Freeland. Two goals push him to keep going: developing his newly discovered affinity for metal and getting revenge on the Immortalist who stole Gyov from him. Both will require him to break the law.
