TRENTON, Mich. - Michimich -- The Trenton Educational Foundation board of directors are inviting members of the community to submit applications for the Trenton Educational Foundation Wall of Fame. The forms can be found at https://trentonedfoundation.org/wall-of-fame or at the School Board Office 2603 Charlton, Trenton, MI. Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. Please nominate a worthy retired teacher, administrator or TPS grad who is excelling in their career industry. The deadline is Sept. 1, 2024.
The Wall of Fame volunteer committee can induct a maximum of three people each year. They have inducted thirty-three people over thirteen years. The recipients represent many Trenton High School graduates who have excelled in their chosen field of work. Many of the recipients were past Board Members, Superintendents, Principals and Teachers who made great contributions in making Trenton one of the best school systems in the state. Candidates must be separated with TPS for at least two years and not in active TPS employee to be considered. The ever-growing Wall of Fame is located in the Trenton High School Lobby and a new location in the hallway of the School Board offices.

Established in 2008 by a partnership of community leaders from various organizations, the TEF is now known as a source of "grants" that teachers can seek to help fund special projects and activities not within the budget.
All levels of Trenton public education are helped by the TEF. The Foundation funds six integral areas of education — Technology, Scholastic, The Arts, Social, Emotional & Physical Health, Professional Development.
The Trenton Educational Foundation (TEF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation created for the purpose of enhancing the educational opportunities for teachers and students within the Trenton Public Schools system. The Foundation's mission is to help achieve and maintain an extra margin of excellence. The TEF is an independent entity, not affiliated with the Trenton Board of Education.
