Children's Podcast Among First Nominated For International Award
ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Michimich -- The Perla Garcia Mysteries, a bilingual podcast for Pre-K to Third Graders, is listed among the first nominees for a 2022 international Latin Podcast Award (LPA). The announcement was made by Felix A. Montelara, founder of Audio Dice Network Media Group, the presenter of the award. Now in its sixth season, the LPA is the only worldwide podcasting competition honoring Spanish and English language podcast content creators in the United States and countries around the world.
The Perla Garcia Mysteries follows the mystery solving escapades of fictional sleuth Perla Garcia and her trusty sidekick, Valiente, a German Shepherd. The first season consisted of six episodes which are currently available on major streaming platforms. The podcast was nominated for an LPA in the Bilingual and Family category.

According to award founder Montelara, "A panel of international podcast content producers has been assembled to select winners by their respective categories and countries. This panel of international Judges will also select the winner of the International award. The Judges are tasked with obtaining the finalists and eventually the winner of the coveted Latin Podcast Award of the Year for 2022."
The Perla Garcia Mysteries podcast was created, written and directed by Rodolfo Alvarado and produced by Caballo Media Productions, a 501-c-3 nonprofit that the IRS has deemed a public charity. A virtual fun run is currently underway to raise funds for the podcast's second season.
