Today Working Knowledge, the ownership team behind ParityFactory, and partners, announced that they have acquired jLAN Technologies, Inc., the developer of jLAN Mobile.
SEATTLE - Michimich -- jLAN Technology is a market leading Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and Route Management software company, providing critical last-mile delivery tracking and management software for both manufacturers and distributors. Key verticals include Food Service, Beverage, Candy, Snacks, Breweries, and Auto Parts.
ParityFactory is an industry-leading provider of WMS & MES for food and beverage processors. Its factory floor software equips food manufacturing operations of all sizes with real-time inventory tracking and comprehensive lot tracing, improving efficiencies and mitigating risk.
While jLAN will remain an independent company, a closer partnership between jLAN and ParityFactory was top of mind in this acquisition. By providing route accounting, mobile sales, direct store delivery and full-service sales software for field agents, jLAN Mobile enhances ParityFactory's end-to-end lot tracing capabilities all the way to store shelves.

"Working Knowledge is always seeking to invest in businesses addressing concrete, real-world supply chain problems, and we're impressed by the turnkey solution jLAN has developed for direct store delivery," said Sean Clemmons, ParityFactory CEO and Working Knowledge partner. "Having collaborated with jLAN on several projects, I saw firsthand how a closer partnership with ParityFactory would be mutually beneficial to both organizations – as well as to our clients."
Andy Link, founder and President of jLAN said, "Working in closer partnership with ParityFactory, as well as the leadership at Working Knowledge, will offer exciting opportunities for jLAN to expand our reach and share our software with a broader range of clients. We are also thrilled that new investment will allow us to quickly integrate jLAN Mobile to a broad range of ERP systems that were previously out of reach."
Ethan Chin, new CEO of jLAN added, "The jLAN team has built a best-in-class solution – and we're thrilled Andy will stay on as President. We're proud to support jLAN as they continue to provide the great service they're known for."
