DETROIT - Michimich -- The 29th Women of Color STEM DTX™ Conference opens this weekend at Huntington Place, with 5,000 attendees expected over several days. The event highlights a public Tech Expo and the launch of The Great Bag Giveaway, an initiative to provide luggage to foster children and families in need.

The Tech Expo will be open to the public on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It will feature major exhibitors such as Google. In collaboration with Career Communications Group, the Great Bag Giveaway invites attendees to donate unused luggage.
