3RD Degree by Filmmaker Mark Hunter Now Streaming on Tubi

DETROIT - Michimich -- ReMARKable Productions is excited to announce their latest release 3^RD DEGREE has been acquired by TUBI, the largest free streaming platform in the world.

The film stars WILLIE TAYLOR, JR. from the hit R&B group Day 26. Taylor plays Deon Mays, Jr. who as a young boy witnesses the betrayal of his father by his business partner. Twenty-years later, it is time to settle the score. His obsession for revenge leads to a series of complicated relationships. As in life, 3^RD DEGREE is filled with drama, thrills and some much-needed comedic relief. Writer/director MARK HUNTER says the film is definitely an artistic portrayal of real life. "I wanted this film to really capture all the nuances of the complex situation of our protagonist," he explains. "Holding on to anger and bitterness has led many people down a dark path ultimately to their own destruction. 3^RD DEGREE explores what can happen if we refuse to let go of the past and focus on the future." The film also stars KRISTIN CLARKE (Deadly Secrets, Paper Heart, Chocolate Kiss) who plays leading lady Sheryl Johnson in the film. Clarke is also the great-grand-niece of Hollywood Legend Dorothy Dandridge. 3^RD DEGREE is the film adaptation of Hunter's hit stage play Let It Burn!

ReMARKable Productions is a Detroit based entertainment company specializing in live theater and film production. The entity began in 2008 with the stage play debut, Eyes of Deception. The ReMARKable production opened to sold-out audiences and performed until June of 2012. Hunter has since penned more than a dozen films and stage productions under the ReMARKable umbrella.
