Gospel recording artist one of two hundred musical acts set to perform at Oakland County Festival
DETROIT - Michimich -- Gospel recording artist Carl B. Phillips, will be performing at Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats and Eats, Sunday September 1, 2024 12:30 pm, on the Michigan Lottery R&B Stage. The festival takes place in downtown Royal Oak,
Known for his inspirational performances at events like the Michigan State Fair, Detroit Music Weekend, Ribs RNB Music Festival, and the Detroit Music Awards, Carl is excited for his first opportunity to perform at Arts, Beats, and Eats.
Carl stated, "I'm thankful to have an opportunity to share an inspirational message outside the walls of the church. I never take these occasions lightly because you never know who can be impacted or inspired by hearing the songs I perform."
Accompanying Carl on stage will be his church choir, "Bishop Brandon Holland and the Greater Christ Temple Church Choir". Carl is currently the Minister of Music of his church where he has been serving for 48 years.
Other guest joining Carl include gospel recording artists Kimberly Whitsett, Bishop Sean Coney and Frank McGee.

About Carl B. Phillips
Carl B. Phillips is a gospel industry veteran, he is an international gospel-recording artist, songwriter, producer, gospel internet radio station owner, and podcast host from Detroit, MI.
Carl has performed live in London, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Nashville, Atlanta and Chicago. His television appearances include, TV-57 Atlanta Live, The Dorinda Show on TCT Network and Dr. Bobby Jones Presents on the Impact Network. Locally, Carl has performed in the Ferndale Front Porch Concert Series, the 2017 Michigan State Fair, the 2018 Detroit Music Weekend, the 2019 Detroit Music Awards. Carl also performed during the 2019 UK Meets USA Gospel Summit.
In 2023 Carl launched Prove Me Gospel Radio, a 24-hour internet gospel radio station and "The Carl B. Phillips Show Podcast". Along with fellow producer, Gregory Pearson, Carl is the co-host of the YouTube show "In The Studio at Inner Court Live".
