Criterion, a leader in HR, payroll and recruiting management software, gained top honors in the Connecticut small employers category. Rankings were based exclusively on surveys submitted by employees. Reddy was also recipient of the Outstanding Leadership Award in the same category.

Reddy attributes his company's success and culture to alignment on three core values: excellent customer service, efficiency, and enthusiasm.

"People are all very excited about what we do. We're competing with companies 100 times bigger than we are, and we win when we compete, so that excites them," Reddy said.
