HAST with AMI and TSE-12 with AMR pairings on display at Booth 6368, Moscone Center, October 13-15
HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - Michimich -- ESPEC North America will exhibit at SEMICON West 2026, October 13-15 at Moscone Center in San Francisco. At Booth 6368, the company will show two integrated pairings from its semiconductor reliability test portfolio: HAST with AMI, and the TSE-12 thermal shock chamber with AMR. Each pairing ties electrical measurement directly to the environmental conditions that produced it.
The show comes as semiconductor manufacturing returns to North America. New domestic facilities need reliability test equipment suppliers who can support them through qualification, production, and long-term operation. At the same time, a generation of tenured engineers is retiring, and newer teams are often building reliability programs from the ground up.
Engineers, lab managers, and quality decision-makers at SEMICON West face three converging challenges. They are electrochemical migration on increasingly dense boards, solder joint fatigue under thermal cycling, and a lack of synchronized measurement that correlates electrical data with environmental conditions. ESPEC's booth speaks directly to topics covered in the show's Advanced Packaging and Heterogeneous Integration Summit and Test Vision Symposium.

The first pairing combines a HAST chamber with ESPEC's AMI electrochemical migration system. HAST chambers typically operate above 100°C, with humidity up to 100% RH and positive pressure, which accelerates moisture-related failure mechanisms. The AMI system measures electrochemical migration (ECM) and insulation resistance in real time under those conditions.
As component geometries shrink and packing density increases, ECM becomes harder to catch before field deployment. AMI captures migration events in under 100 microseconds. Standard testing voltage is 100V, with options at 300V and 500V and custom configurations up to 2,500V.
Channel capacity scales to 300 with independent module control. The system supports IPC-TM-650 (2.6.3.3), AEC-Q200, and ISO/IEC 17025.
The second pairing combines the compact TSE-12 thermal shock chamber with the AMR system. The TSE-12 drives rapid transitions between temperature extremes. AMR monitors conductor and solder joint resistance continuously through every cycle, capturing shifts the moment they occur instead of after the test ends.
AMR comes in DC (AMR-UD) and AC (AMR-UA) versions. The DC version measures resistance from 1 mOhm to 100 MOhm, and the AC version measures up to 3 kOhm, with accuracy of plus or minus 0.5% at 100 mOhm. Systems start at 40 channels and expand to 280, and every system includes ISO/IEC 17025-compliant calibration.

Pairing the chamber and measurement system gives labs traceable, correlated data for programs under IPC, AEC, or ISO audit requirements. Calibration, preventative maintenance, and field service all come from a single source. ESPEC North America is an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration and service provider and part of ESPEC Corp., the world's largest company dedicated exclusively to environmental test chambers.
Attendees can visit Booth 6368 or reach out before the show to schedule time with ESPEC's team. Full specifications are on ESPEC's semiconductor-related equipment page.
