FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Michimich -- – Easter brings families together each year, and thanks to the hardworking culinary teams at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant and Bavarian Inn Lodge (https://bavarianinn.com/) there's plenty of great dining options in Frankenmuth on Easter Sunday (April 5).
Dining options that day include at the Restaurant and at the Lodge's annual "Bountiful Easter Buffet." Families looking to celebrate at home can also order the Restaurant's popular takeout dinner in advance.
This year the Lodge's annual Easter Day Bountiful Buffet will offer seatings between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The menu includes expansive salad and dessert tables, plus items like Frankenmuth Chicken, carved ham, baked Cod, leg of Lamb, buttered noodles, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable blend, scrambled eggs, and pancakes.
The buffet is $42.95 for adults, $20.95 for children ages 8-12, $13.95 for children ages 3-7 and free for children under two. Tax and gratuity will be added to all checks. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (888) 775-6343.
For those interested in the Restaurant's Easter Takeout Dinner, the family meal serves four people and costs $169 (plus taxes). A meal for eight people, including double of the menu items, is also available for an additional $100.

Easter takeout dinner orders must be received by Thursday, April 2 and picked up at designated pick-up times on Sunday, April 5 either at the Castle Shops north entrance or at designated spots for curbside pickup.
The meal includes a 9-10-pound hickory smoked boneless ham, one quart each of mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, baked dressing, and vegetables, one pint of gravy and one quart each of coleslaw and cranberry relish. There is also Bavarian Chicken Seasoning and a loaf of homemade bread included. A large apple or lemon meringue pie can be added for an additional $17. Substitutions are not available for the takeout dinner.
