TRENTON, Mich. - Michimich -- The Backroad Baggers Championship match, a first in the series will be broadcast globally on April 27th, 2025 in multiple play divisions including, womens, mens, juniors, doubles and solos. Some of the best area baggers will be facing off for this live broadcast event.

Frank Mazzella, Executive Producer and owner explains: "We reached out to several cornhole groups and found the Backroad Baggers a great and eager partner, putting a lot of energy into setting up the event. It will be broadcast live on our TCL channel (#3080), on Roku, You Tube and from our website. More channels will be available for the future competitions. We are very pleased to be working with Backroad Baggers."

A first of its kind for the venue, Riverside Events Venue (REV) is located in downtown Trenton          at 2663 West Jefferson Avenue in downtown area of Trenton and will be converted to a regulation cornhole playing space. Future dates will be announced for the rest of the season It will be free entry to watch at the REV with limited seating available.

BackRoad Baggers LLC is owned and operated by husband and wife Tim and Josie Cuolahan, who stated "We started the company because we love the sport and the players! We have been hosting cornhole tournaments for 6yrs, hosting ACL weekly events, private parties, company parties, festivals, and more. We held qualifying tournaments for this event, and the top 10 players advanced to the championship round. The players that qualified for Juniors are Zayne Crots and Hunter Jenkins. Womens division players are Sandy McCaffrey vs Josie Cuolahan. The Singles round will be Dylan Aikey vs Jehiel Jenkins. The Doubles round will be Robert Schroyer and Curt Stafford vs Rickie Hindbaugh and Jon Jenkins. We are excited for the Championship event and our new partnership with REV and Go live Sports Cast".
