GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Michimich -- With the rise in people working from home, many have found themselves increasingly aware of the variety of projects in need of attention within their immediate surroundings. This has led to growth in home improvement service sectors, with many companies blossoming despite adverse global economic conditions. The Glass Guru is one business riding this positive trend, opening a new location in the greater Grand Rapids area. The team is dedicated to serving its community with window glass restoration, repair, and replacement, with technicians making in-home visits to best ascertain the needs of their customers.
The new business is owned and operated by Grand Rapids locals who have lived in the area for fifteen years. Zachary Williams, business manager for the new location, was asked about the company's operational goals.
"There is a lot of stress in the world right now, and it can be challenging to tackle complex projects such as foggy windows amidst everything else," he lamented. "Our goal is to remove as much of that difficulty as possible by using our expertise and innovative problem solving skills to help our community."

One of those innovations is moisture removal. Using a proprietary process, The Glass Guru is capable of removing the moisture in foggy insulated glass panes, often at a significant cost savings to the homeowner. This system helps lengthen the life of the home's windows and comes with a transferable ten year warranty for improved peace of mind for anyone who owns the home now or in the future.
Another service offered by the company is the installation of in-glass pet doors. Grand Rapids is home to a wide variety of pet owners, many of whom regularly endure the wintery air when allowing their pets access to the outdoors.
"I think we have all experienced that moment of shock when opening our doors on a cold winter morning," Zachary said with a laugh. "The beauty of the pet doors is that winter can stay outside with your pet while you stay nice and warm inside."
The Glass Guru of Grand Rapids hopes to bring a lasting and positive impact to Grand Rapids by allowing its residents to enjoy more of the beautiful Michigan scenery right outside their home windows.
