Fittipaldi, who comes from a long line of successful racers, is determined to make his mark on the streets of Detroit. "The Detroit Grand Prix holds a special place in the Fittipaldi family history," he shared. The Fittipaldi name is synonymous with success at the Detroit Grand Prix, with Pietro's grandfather Emerson Fittipaldi winning the race twice in 1989 and 1991. As Pietro prepares for this year's race, he can't help but feel inspired by his grandfather's achievements.

Pietro will be driving his No. 30 car sponsored by 5-hour ENERGY®, a company founded by global philanthropist Manoj Bhargava that is celebrating its 20th anniversary by returning to motorsports. The company is headquartered near Detroit and is proud to support Pietro in his racing endeavors.
This year marks the second year that the Detroit Grand Prix has returned to race on the streets of downtown Detroit. This means that Pietro will have the opportunity to race on some of the same streets where his grandfather achieved victory. In his first full season with RLL Racing, Pietro is determined to continue his family's legacy at this prestigious event and compete for a win.
Aside from the thrilling racing action, fans can also look forward to a three-day festival experience at the Detroit Grand Prix. The event offers scenic views from the iconic Riverwalk, as well as interactive games, delicious food, and live music at Hart Plaza. It's a fun-filled event for the whole family to enjoy.
