FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Michimich -- Jennifer Rumsey, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of global power solutions technology leader Cummins Inc., will deliver the keynote address at Green Truck Summit during Work Truck Week® 2023. Held annually, Green Truck Summit provides insights and resources to support the work truck industry's drive toward greater sustainability, productivity and efficiency.

Green Truck Summit takes place at JW Marriott Indianapolis, adjacent to Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 7. Rumsey's keynote starts at 8:45 a.m. It will be followed by a full slate of sessions addressing the evolution of the commercial vehicle landscape as the shift toward zero emissions accelerates. Work Truck Week, North America's largest work truck event, encompasses Green Truck Summit, The Work Truck Show®, Ride & Drive, educational conference, and more. As Cummins president and CEO, Rumsey oversees the strategic direction, growth initiatives and global operations for the world's largest independent manufacturer of engines and related technologies. She has focused her 25-year career on advancing technology and bringing products to market that power customers' success and make a positive difference in the world. Rumsey co-authored Cummins' Destination Zero strategy, the company's plan to go further, faster to reduce the greenhouse gas and air quality impacts of its products and reach net-zero emissions by 2050.

Rumsey assumed her current role in August 2022, stepping up from president and chief operating officer. Throughout her time with Cummins, she has played a critical role in making strategic investments in key technologies and markets to transition to lower carbon emissions products.

Registration for Green Truck Summit includes a full day of intensive programs from industry experts, government representatives, fleets, and vehicle equipment manufacturers. Lunch and Green Truck Summit reception on March 7 are also included.
