Troy, MI – June 2, 2025 – McInerney Auto Center, part of the esteemed McInerney automotive family that has served Metro Detroit for over 60 years, is proud to announce the grand opening of its second mega repair facility at 100 W. 14 Mile Rd, Troy, MI, on the east side of the Oakland Mall. Following the success of its first location at the Macomb Mall in Roseville, McInerney Auto Center is expanding to serve the communities of Troy, Madison Heights, Warren, Sterling Heights, Clawson, Ferndale, Birmingham, Royal Oak, and beyond.
The McInerney family's automotive legacy began in 1963 when brothers Martin "Hoot" McInerney, Tom, and Jack opened Northland Chrysler Plymouth in Oak Park. Led by Hoot, a legendary figure in the auto industry known for his customer-first philosophy, the family built a reputation for integrity, hard work, and treating customers like family, growing to over a dozen dealerships and service centers across Metro Detroit. Today, Mike McInerney and his son Michael Jr. carry forward this tradition with McInerney Auto Center.
