PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Michimich -- The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (The Center) is partnering with the Center for Automotive Diversity, Inclusion & Advancement (CADIA) to offer several courses to manufacturers focused on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). The classes will be held both in person and virtually and will begin in the first quarter of 2022.

"We look forward to working with The Center and their clients to help accelerate their DEI journey," said Jennifer Harding, Vice President, Business Development for CADIA. "Companies that work toward creating truly inclusive cultures will naturally experience more employee engagement and will be able pull from a greater talent pool of individuals motivated to work for an organization eager to harness the diversity of thought that this brings. Through The Center we will reach a broader audience including the hourly workforce which is an important part of any company's DEI strategy."
"The addition of DEI classes enables us to provide new and valuable training to Michigan's manufacturers," said Jamie Headley, Director of Business Development at The Center and a member of CADIA's Board of Directors. "I've seen first-hand the difference CADIA makes in company culture, and we are enthused about adding to our diverse training portfolio."
