The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting an open house to discuss the I-94 Business Loop (BL) (Dickman Road) construction project in Battle Creek and Springfield, Calhoun County.

BACKGROUND:
MDOT will be repaving I-94 BL from Helmer Road to I-194 and adding a right-turn lane from westbound Dickman Road to northbound Kendall Street to improve traffic flow at the intersection and Kendall Street railroad crossing. Construction is tentatively planned for May through August and will include daytime lane closures, as well as nighttime total closures with posted detours.
