DETROIT - Michimich -- For BTN's Scripting the Flip Black Theatre: Act III themed gathering at DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Detroit Downtown - Fort Shelby, the PEWARS is embedded into Phillip E Walker's academic presentation entitled "Teaching the Short Film as Virtual Theatre". This particular version of Scripting the Flip as a result of the Pandemic, explores the appropriateness of short film production replacing traditional live theatre production, as a tool of instruction - the new theatre education laboratory.

However, the presentation's most important examples of this educational approach will be his 5 short film screenings. They will include the live & in-person World Premieres of University of Southern California Freshman Stephanie Bell's "Dancing With Maleeah" and "2022 Black History Month - a Phillip E. Walker Video Memoir".
