DETROIT, Nov. 8, 2023 ~ This holiday season, Pleasantrees is giving back to the Detroit community in partnership with Heart 2 Hart, a local nonprofit. November is Homeless Awareness Month in Michigan, and Pleasantrees is doing its part to help those in need. For every item purchased from its apparel line, Pleasantrees Provisions, the company will donate one item of clothing to Heart 2 Hart.
The number of homeless individuals in Michigan has been on the rise since 2022, and Pleasantrees has three dispensaries in metro Detroit. Heart 2 Hart distributes food, clothing, toiletries and more to those experiencing homelessness. In 2022 alone, they provided 13,200 meals, 5,200 pairs of socks and 2,100 shirts and sweatshirts.
