Perro Worldwide Comics Introduces Teriyaki Chicken Rescue, an online feature film that reboots entertainment for Generation Z and Generation Alpha

BOSTON - Michimich -- "Advertising is art with intent," explains filmmaker Chip Perro. His production company Perro Worldwide Comics is spearheading this advertising approach in his upcoming movie, Teriyaki Chicken Rescue. The film is a new media feature specifically written for online audiences-- think Entourage meets X-Files, online! The sci-fi martial arts script features an innovative story and includes built-in product placement spots for a range of products that include everything from cars, to hot tubs, to chicken.  It's crafted to be where young viewers live-- online.  It's the perfect blend of entertainment and product promotion.

Young consumers are smart and savvy.  They want more than clips and fails peppered with influencer shout-outs. Perro thinks product placement will change the practice of tapping influencers to push products with brassy mid-video shoutouts. It offers a return to quality content. "For many advertisers their truth is lost in a digital shout-fest," says Perro. He describes current online advertising as the equivalent of street vendors hustling in Manhattan to sell knockoff purses. That barely works in real life, and it doesn't work online. New media is primed for scripted entertainment and long form stories are the perfect vehicle to showcase brands and advertise in a meaningful way.

Teriyaki Chicken Rescue is the first of its kind feature film designed for online viewing, the way Generation Z and Generation Alpha interact with entertainment. They are surfing the internet highway for quality entertainment, and in the same way that people don't travel highways to read billboards, they don't go online to click ad-links or watch commercials. Product placement can bring the human connection back to brands in scripted stories.
