OAK PARK, Mich., July 9, 2024 ~ Bollinger Motors, Inc., a leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has announced a major agreement with Spencer Manufacturing to provide five all-electric Class 4 Bollinger B4 commercial trucks. These vehicles will be upfitted by Spencer Manufacturing into emergency rescue trucks, showcasing the growing demand for sustainable and efficient solutions in the public safety sector.

Spencer Manufacturing is a renowned specialty upfitter of rescue vehicles and fire trucks, serving municipal fire departments across the nation. With their expertise in ladder, pumper, tanker, and grass/wildland trucks, they are well-equipped to transform the Bollinger B4 chassis cab into top-of-the-line emergency services vehicles. The delivery of these vehicles will take place after Bollinger Motors launches production in the second half of 2024.

The Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab is an innovative battery-electric Class 4 commercial truck designed with extensive input from fleet and upfitter experts. Moreover, Bollinger Motors has recently qualified for federal clean-vehicle purchasing incentives under the Inflation Reduction Act, which offers a refundable tax credit of $40,000 per truck.
