In light of Executive Order 2020-42 issued this afternoon by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, the City of Sterling Heights will extend the closure of municipal buildings—including the library—through at least April 30.
The due dates for all checkouts have been extended. Our patrons will not have to pay any overdue fines while the library remains closed.
As always, our online resources are available 24/7. You can get started at shpl.net/1264. If you do not have a library card, you can apply for a card online at shpl.net/1578. The library also has a schedule of virtual activities that can be seen at shpl.net/610.
