~ The City of Sterling Heights Department of Parks and Recreation will be hosting a public meeting on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 7:00PM to take comments regarding the submittal of a grant application to acquire a portion of property adjacent to Rotary Park. The property is approximately 3.5 acres in size and has 350 feet of frontage along Utica Road. The grant will be submitted to the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF) for an amount equal to the market value of the property, less 25% of that amount which must be provided by the City as matching funds.

The meeting will take place at Sterling Heights City Hall in the Council Chamber located at 40555 Utica Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48313. All members of the public are invited to attend and provide their input on this proposed acquisition.
