FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Michimich -- Celebrate the dog days of summer at the Frankenmuth Funtown Chowdown Food Truck, returning August 8 to Frankenmuth River Place Shops with approximately 20 food trucks from across Michigan and family-friendly activities including inflatables.
The food truck festival is from 2 to 9 PM on Thursday, August 8 at Frankenmuth River Place Shops, 925 S. Main St. in Michigan's Little Bavaria. Festival admission and parking is free. The last event date of the season is September 12.
Each food truck festival will showcase special activities and entertainment along with a variety of food. This month, we're celebrating the impending arrival of the Bavarian Blast waterpark at the Bavarian Inn Lodge with a Bavarian Blast theme. Each event also features approximately 20 food trucks from across Michigan, music entertainment, and a beer tent. There will also be plenty of shaded seating, and additional activities for families like face painting and inflatables. The event is pet-friendly; animals must be on a 6-foot leash at all times.
