Tampa, FL and Hanover, MA, Oct 05, 2019 -- Lapels Dry Cleaning, an innovative, environmentally friendly dry cleaning company headquartered in Hanover, Massachusetts, announces the recent conversion of two existing Hudson Cleaners locations in Tampa to Lapels Dry Cleaning. The new Lapels locations are located at 11209 N Dale Mabry Highway and 4920 Newkirk Drive.
Both locations are owned and operated by Lapels franchisee, Phillip and Joy Baker of Reddington Shore.
"We are delighted to bring the Lapels Dry Cleaning experience to Hudson Cleaners customers and more Tampa residents," said Phillip Baker. "At Lapels, we use a sustainable, non-toxic method for dry cleaning clothes. Subsequently, clothes feel better when you wear them and last longer."
Prior to Lapels, Phillip was a finance executive in the healthcare industry and Joy an active real estate agent. With a desire to step out of the corporate world and be his own boss, he searched for a franchise opportunity that could provide immediate cash flow.
"We looked at a number of franchise opportunities. We liked so many things about the Lapels opportunity. The people, the processes, the price point, the digital marketing options, etc.," said Phillip. "The most compelling part was being able to convert existing dry cleaners with an established customer base to Lapels Dry Cleaning stores so we would have immediate cash flow and wouldn't have to build a market from scratch."
To ensure a seamless transition, Baker retained the current staff from Hudson Cleaners, including Plant Manager Denise De Jesus.

Using these kinds of solutions and the latest technology in equipment, Lapels is one of the few dry cleaners able to boast that there is no hazardous waste in their process.
Lapels Dry Cleaning also sets itself apart with its customer service. Lapels customers are greeted to a warm and inviting reception area, with friendly customer service representatives, and alteration services.
Lapels offers it's customers Automatic Rewards earning them credit towards free dry cleaning for every dollar they spend, Loyalty Programs, a VIP Program which eliminates the need to wait in line, the use of a 24 Hour Drop Off Service and FREE Home Delivery to all its customers.
