The Golden Detroit Jazz Festival Shuttle Is Back

DETROIT - Michimich -- The Golden Jazz Fest shuttles will run on Saturday, September 2, Sunday, September 3, and Monday, September 4 from Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti to Detroit.  "We are so pleased to once again be partnering with WEMU to provide hassle-free transportation from the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti areas to this always popular event," said Golden Limousine President & CEO Sean Duval. "Making it easy for more people to attend the world's largest free Jazz festival is our way of showing support for this great community event."

The shuttles will depart from Skyline High School in Ann Arbor, and the EMU George Gervin GameAbove Center (formerly the Convocation Center), in Ypsilanti. The return shuttle from Detroit will depart from Huntington Place (formerly known as Cobo Center). Because of the continued partnership with WEMU, the cost is $20.00 per round trip per day, in advance, and $25.00 per round trip per day if booked after September 1.

The 2023 Detroit Jazz Festival, the world's largest free Jazz festival, will be held over Labor Day weekend, September 1 – 4, with a few jazz masters will be in attendance.

"We are extremely excited to feature three newly awarded NEA Jazz Masters – Regina Carter, Louis Hayes, and Kenny Garrett, who are also Detroit jazz icons, on the stages of the Festival this year," said Chris Collins, president and artistic director, Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation.
