The Power of Preparedness Introduces Workplace Violence Training Segment Regarding the Homeless

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Michimich -- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social unrest, and economic uncertainty, Americans are dealing with elevated levels of stress and emotions. This includes the homeless. Utility field workers, who are already experiencing an increase in violence, may encounter violence from the homeless while on the job.

That's why The Power of Preparedness has added a segment to their Utilities training on how to manage encounters with the homeless.

The training covers the importance of empathy, common behaviors, and how to interact with the homeless.
