FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Michimich -- Bavarian Inn Restaurant hosts Renaissance-inspired "Feast of the Firedrake Wine Dinner"
FRANKENMUTH, Mich – Feb. 5, 2025 - Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Restaurant (https://www.bavarianinn.com/) presents their first ever "Feast of the Firedrake Wine Dinner," a medieval-inspired culinary experience.
This immersive wine dinner will take place on March 21 at 6 p.m. in the European-inspired ambiance of Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Restaurant. Guests can anticipate five elegant courses expertly paired with a glass of wine. To enhance the medieval experience, attendees are encouraged to dress in Renaissance-inspired attire, ensuring a night of authentic feasting and celebration.
Jake Molle of Eagle Eye Brands will guide guests through each pairing, sharing the fascinating history behind each provision. Every wine has been thoughtfully paired with a lavish course crafted by the talented Bavarian Inn Team, ensuring a harmonious blend of flavors.

The first course of the five will begin the night with a glass of Fire Road Sauvignon Blanc and Char-grilled oysters. The second course will introduce another medieval-derived pairing, Wild Mushroom and Chestnut Soup with Truffled Thyme Oil and a glass of LunaGaia Maganza Zibibbo, a sophisticated wine of Italy made from one of the rarest and most ancient grapes known.
Succeeding the second course, Bavarian Inn Restaurant will present the first entrée of the night, a perfectly seared Herb-Crusted Duck Breast with Black Currant Reduction accompanied by a glass of Musella Valpolicella Superiore. The subsequent dish will be Grilled Lamb Chops and Fingerling Potatoes perfectly paired with Guardians Saperavi.
The final dish of the night is Citrus Pavlova, a lemon meringue nest topped with glazed oranges, citrus syrup, and mead reduction. This exquisite finale will be complemented by the enchanting notes of The Harrow Desolation Mead.
