DETROIT - Michimich -- The Brothers of Kelly Park ("B.O.K.") are proud to announce that they have been awarded a generous grant from The Skillman Foundation to support their upcoming 2025 B.O.K. Free Summer Basketball Camp. This camp, designed to empower and nurture youth in Detroit, will take place outdoors at Kelley Park, located at 15825 Oakfield Ave., Detroit, MI 48227.
The camp runs from June 11, 2025, to August 22, 2025, operating every Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. It is open to boys and girls aged 6 to 14, with a special focus on serving families from low to moderate income levels. The B.O.K. Summer Basketball Camp aims to register up to 50 campers per day each week. Participants will enjoy a free breakfast at 8:00 AM and a free lunch at 11:30 AM, ensuring that children are both energized and nourished throughout the program.
