The city of Sterling Heights issues notification on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 5 p.m. to residents and businesses of the potential for a temporary reduction in water pressure in the affected area outlined on the map provided below.

To effectuate repairs, GLWA is temporarily shutting off the water supply to the affected main. As a result, residents and businesses situated north and east of the Clinton River may experience reduced water pressure.
The reduction in water pressure is expected to be minimal during the estimated 3 to 4 hour period that GLWA's contractor will be working to repair the valve. Water quality will not be impacted as a result of this repair.
