CHARLEVOIX, Mich. - Michimich -- Mission Point Press today released Dead Exit, the third novel in Michael Balter's award-winning Marty and Bo Thriller Series. The new crime thriller is now available in hardcover, paperback, Kindle, and Audible editions through major retailers and independent bookstores.
In Dead Exit, business partners Marty Schott and Bo Bishop are trying to extricate themselves from a dangerous business relationship with a Russian oligarch when a midnight phone call changes everything. Bo's brother-in-law has been murdered, and as the two men search for answers, they uncover a web of cigarette smuggling, counterfeit money, corruption, and a covert FBI operation inspired by a real-world FBI sting. As the investigation unfolds, their families come under threat, loyalties are tested, and one wrong move could prove fatal.
"Dead Exit is a double-shot of murder, dark humor, and white-knuckled suspense that works on every level. Dead Exit will wow newcomers and satisfy series die-hards," wrote BestThrillers.com.

D. Donovan, Senior Reviewer for Midwest Book Review, called the novel "a sweeping saga of smuggling, corruption, and intrigue inspired by a real-world FBI sting operation."
Dead Exit follows Balter's award-winning novels Chasing Money and The Vatican Deal. Together, the three books chronicle the adventures of Marty Schott and Bo Bishop—ordinary businessmen whose attempts to build successful companies repeatedly draw them into extraordinary danger. All three novels are available in Kindle Unlimited.
