The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $1.2 million to replace the M-18 culvert over Backus Creek north of Prudenville. The project includes reconstructing the culvert approaches and replacing guardrail, curb and gutter.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
This work will require a detour for M-18 through-traffic between I-75 and M-55. Traffic will be detoured on I-75 and M-55.
SAFETY FEATURES:
This project will ensure the structural integrity of this crossing for all traffic.
